Ukraine has struck multiple oil tankers in the Sea of Azov and Black Sea leading to a crisis in Crimea as fuel shortages worsen. The drone barrage came as multiple refineries in Omsk, St. Petersburg, Nizhnekamsk, Tver and Mikhailovsk were smashed by long range drones.

Putin spent a decade turning Crimea into the most fortified peninsula in Europe. Anti-ship missiles, S-400 batteries, a naval base projecting power across the entire Black Sea. When he annexed it in 2014, his approval rating surged to 89%. Crimea was the crown jewel of his regime, the proof that Russia was back. Today, that crown jewel is becoming an anchor. The Black Sea Fleet has abandoned Sevastopol entirely. The last warship left in July 2024. Ukrainian naval drones made the port too dangerous to operate from. The M-14 highway corridor is under Ukrainian drone fire control. The Kuban-Crimea gas pipeline has been sabotaged. Over 500 Russian air defense units have been destroyed in and around the peninsula in four months alone. Property prices in Sevastopol have collapsed by more than 40%. Insurance companies refuse to issue travel policies for Crimea at any price. And now mobilization has turned the peninsula into a literal trap — men living there have nowhere to flee, because the bridge is monitored, the ferry is limited, and the northern border is the front line. Retired US Army General Ben Hodges has laid out exactly how this ends — not through invasion, but through strangulation. Three simultaneous phases: isolation, degradation, economic collapse. Putin built a fortress. Ukraine turned it into a cage.

Ukraine has delivered a powerful 24 hours: a new campaign against Russia’s Ozon network, another reported target destroyed in the Samara region, and major Russian military losses documented by Ukraine’s defense forces. Those losses include aircraft, air-defense systems, radars, and a mobile ballistic-missile launcher.
Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin insists Ukrainian strikes are producing no significant change and will never give Kyiv an advantage. Russia may be preparing for another major mobilization—and inside Russia, the warning signs are getting harder to ignore.
In this update, we go inside Russia to examine a military enlistment notice received by a 38-year-old Russian, damage at a Wildberries facility in the Tula region, and a growing queue at a Moscow Rosneft gas station. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukrainian intelligence has confirmed Russian preparations for a new mobilization after parliamentary elections, potentially involving several hundred thousand additional Russians.
Then we turn to Ukraine’s next major danger: winter. The Institute for the Study of War and Ukrainian officials are warning that Russia is likely to intensify attacks against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure while Kyiv continues to face shortages of critical air-defense interceptors.

Ukraine is mourning after a devastating day of Russian strikes. In Kryvyi Rih, the confirmed toll from the attack on a shopping mall rose to 15 killed and 130 injured, including 23 children. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attack and said Ukraine will respond.
The violence extended beyond Kryvyi Rih. A drone struck a minibus in Zaporizhzhia, while a Shahed attack on a multipurpose building in Tokarivka in the Mykolaiv region killed four people, including three boys. Against that backdrop, Ukraine also revealed the first batch of the Alexa Spatium interceptor drone—a mobile, turbojet-powered system designed to counter Russian kamikaze and Shahed-type drones and capable of returning for reuse if an interception is unsuccessful.
The video also examines new signs of pressure inside Russia: testimony that two military-age men were prevented from leaving the country despite having valid documents, and a Russian frontline soldier describing the horror of missions where five men are sent out and only one returns. These accounts raise serious questions about Russian casualties, manpower, and the possibility of future mobilization.

Ukraine’s war is moving on several fronts at once. In this update, we go inside Russia to examine footage from Moscow showing a long fuel line on one side of the road and a burning Wildberries warehouse on the other — then use the visible GPS coordinates and street imagery to verify the location.
We then turn to Mykhailo Fedorov’s major interview and his warning about what it may take to force Russia to end this war. Fedorov says Ukraine will have its own ballistic missile and gives a three-to-six-month estimate for when one could strike a target inside Russia. That comes as Ukraine continues debating key government appointments and protesters keep demanding Fedorov’s return.
And in Zaporizhia, we see another brutal reality of civilian life near the front: a minibus fitted with anti-drone cage protection to survive Russian FPV attacks. Shortly before recording, a new image arrived showing that same minibus destroyed. At the time of this video, information about possible injuries had not been confirmed. Ukraine delivered what Greg calls a fantastic night of long-range strikes, while Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk issued one of his strongest warnings yet about Russia, European security, and Poland’s rapidly growing military power.
Russia claimed it intercepted 598 Ukrainian drones across 19 regions, Crimea, and surrounding seas—a figure that remains an unverified Russian claim. Ukraine also reported a major strike involving the Flamingo FP-5 against the TsSKB Progress facility in Samara, a strategically important center connected to Russia’s rocket and satellite industrial base. Ukraine also struck Savasleyka Air Base, home to MiG-31 aircraft associated with Kinzhal missile launches against Ukraine.
The contrast remains brutal. While Ukraine targets Russian military and industrial infrastructure, Russia continued its own barrage against Ukraine.
