Middle East update: White House says Iran war timeline remains in place

We are learning more as the war between the United States, Israel, and Iran enters its 30th day. This comes as signs continue to show the conflict expanding both militarily and geographically. Reports indicate that recent attacks and rising casualties are raising concerns about a broader regional war and increasing global risk. LiveNOW’s Andy Mac is speaking with Trevor Hunnicutt, a White House Correspondent with Reuters, after President Donald Trump said that “progress has been made," when speaking about ongoing Middle East conflict.

President Trump told the Financial Times that he is considering the idea of taking Kharg Island in a recently published interview. "Maybe we take Kharg Island, maybe we don’t. We have a lot of options," Trump reportedly said. "It would also mean we had to be there (on Kharg Island) for a while."
