This morning, reports say the U.S. Navy has deployed underwater drones in the Strait of Hormuz to attempt to reopen the critical shipping lane from Iranian control. It’s unclear if the efforts have been successful. Meanwhile, this morning — US Officials have re-issued VERY strong threats against Iran, telling the regime that if they do not sign a peace deal then the U.S. military is going to “blow the whole country up”. They claim this would include bridges, and every single power plant in Iran. We have also heard reports that Iranian proxy forces in Yemen are threatening to close the Bab al-Mandeb strait in the Red Sea (another critical shipping route) if US attacks begin to take place on Iran in the very near future. And we have also seen a massive explosion in Iran at a facility linked to the ship-building industry in one of Iran’s cities near the coast — its unclear what caused the explosion, but it was certainly a very big one.

Meanwhile Russia has conducted a live-fire exercise directly on the NATO border at Lake Peipus, with the Russian border guards firing directly at the Estonian border in the lake as they fired at moving targets on the surface. Estonian officials have voiced concern over this activity, as it is the first time in history that such a provocative exercise has ever been conducted like this on their border. Meanwhile Russia has been abandoned by the People's Republic of China, as they are now making plans to make good with a new Russian government once Putin is removed, and have also tried to fleece Russia on a natural gas pipeline, demanding that they get the gas from the pipeline as such a low value that Russia would actually be losing money if they agree to the deal. Ukraine has kept hammering the sea lanes near Crimea, resulting in the loss of many more tankers, bulk carriers, and an infamous Russian coast guard ship which was destroyed today on the Russian coast.
