Today, there is important news from Ukraine.
Here, as Starlink internet access remains cut off, Ukraine is demonstrating that it has enough capabilities so that it is not out of the fight just yet. As the cutoff has severely disrupted high-speed drone controls, Ukraine’s domestically developed missiles just delivered the most devastating strike against Russian airbases this year.
In the middle of the night, Russian observers reported a large number of high-speed missiles flying into Russian territory, as air raid warnings were declared across numerous regions. The target, Russia’s major Borisoglebsk military airbase in the Voronezh region, housing the largest component of Russia’s military aircraft launching frontline glide-bomb strikes against Ukraine. Footage shows major fires lighting up the clouds in the night sky. Local residents filmed major flashes of light followed by loud explosions coming from the direction of the airfield. Finally, footage was published showing one of the impacts itself, with a massive fireball climbing up into the sky, suggesting that a major munitions depot was hit among the strikes.
In the aftermath, satellite footage was released showing that the damage was far more extreme. Six Russian Su thirty-four fighter-bombers had been destroyed in the blasts. Four wrecks are visible lining the tarmac, while who more fire marks on the asphalt suggest that two more were caught in the blast and were severely damaged. These aircraft are key in launching Russian glide bomb strikes against Ukrainian frontline positions. They are able to carry the most out of all Russia aircraft simultaneously, and are therefore used most extensively as well. As Ukrainians are unable to counter Russian glide bombs without further-reaching missiles, the only way for Ukraine to disrupt the strikes is by targeting the aircraft and the bombs while on the ground. And the destruction of six of these aircraft is a significant loss for Russian air-support capabilities.
For the strike, Ukrainians used their own domestically produced Neptune missile systems. Ukraine has long used the missiles that sunk the Russian Black Sea flagship the Moskva in ground-attack roles as well, proving itself an effective weapon against the highest Russian targets. Just like these missiles, the Starlink cutoff recently imposed on Ukraine does not completely dismantle Ukraine’s long-range strike capabilities. The missiles used for these strikes are either guided through a ballistic trajectory, have inertial guidance systems, or use radar-homing to lock on to their targets, not relying on any Starlink connection. Ukraine’s long-range drones similarly rely on a multitude of AI systems, pre-programmed flight paths, varied satellite constellations, and sometimes even high-altitude balloon relays for guidance instead of Starlink. It’s also important to understand that long-range strikes are mostly conducted against static targets, meaning that the drones or missiles do not need to be piloted by Ukrainian operators using Starlink to fly to their targets, unlike most mid-range strike drones and interceptor drones. This is where the disruption has the most effect. Not against Ukrainian strikes against Russian oil and energy infrastructure, but in protecting civilians against Russian Shahed terror attacks and in undermining Russian offensives by the mid-range strikes. Because long-range strikes are now the only thing Ukraine has left to pressure Russia, Zelensky has officially lifted the ban on refinery strikes, which was initially imposed to precisely to approach Trump’s dealmaking efforts.
Overall, while Ukraine had halted strikes on Russian energy facilities for three days at Washington’s request, Russia continued striking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and cities, prompting Zelensky to state that enough is enough and cancel the order. With Starlink speed limitations only affecting Ukraine’s ability to defend itself, the long-range strikes will continue with renewed determination. Ukraine has plenty of domestic systems that will continue to strike Russia’s airfields, ammunition depots, and refineries deep inside Russian territory independent of Washington’s imposed limitations on Starlink. Zelensky added that for Ukraine, this is not a game, deal, or politics, but rather the continued survival of their country and its citizens.

Russia just revealed a chilling 2036–2050 outlook at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum — and its “good” scenario includes Kyiv, Odesa, and Kharkiv under Russian control.
In this video, Greg Terry breaks down the shocking future scenarios presented by Konstantin Malafeyev at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, with Alexander Dugin and Kirill Dmitriev in the room. The presentation lays out Russia’s preferred future by 2036 and 2050, including the annexation of major Ukrainian cities, the destruction of NATO, the collapse of Western influence, and a prolonged war scenario that could stretch far beyond what many people imagine.
We also discuss Ukraine’s strikes near St. Petersburg, President Zelenskyy’s continued push for Patriot air defense systems, Mark Rutte’s comments, and why Russia’s own words show exactly why Ukraine must be supported until victory.
This is not speculation. This is what Russia is openly saying about its future plans.

The geopolitical crisis in the Middle East has reached a critical tipping point as high-stakes diplomatic channels collapse and the White House faces mounting pressure over regional security. With oil markets violently reacting to persistent disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, President Trump is forced to weigh a monumental decision regarding military action and U.S. strategy against Tehran.
Inside Iran, the clerical establishment is desperately trying to manage a collapsing economy and shifting military realities, even as the Iranian People suffer under a catastrophic convergence of crises. Decades of severe international sanctions combined with catastrophic domestic mismanagement, corruption, and the diversion of billions into regional proxy wars and the nuclear program have left the rial virtually worthless, making basic food staples, medicine, and housing entirely unaffordable for millions of working-class families. Despite sitting on massive hydrocarbon reserves, the population routinely faces systemic power grid failures, rolling blackouts, and critical fuel shortages that leave hospitals and basic infrastructure struggling to function and directly endanger civilian lives. Furthermore, years of disastrous dam projects, government corruption, and acute mismanagement of water resources have triggered severe droughts across multiple provinces, destroying traditional agriculture, drying up historic water sources, and displacing rural populations into impoverished urban fringes. Finally, civil liberties have been systematically eradicated, where peaceful protests over economic conditions or basic human rights are met with violent crackdowns by security apparatuses, mass arrests, and harsh judicial sentences, trapping the populace under an atmosphere of constant surveillance and state intimidation.
This expanding conflict is rippling across neighboring flashpoints, drawing in security spillover from Iraq and Israel while testing the endurance of Saudi Arabia and the IRGC.
Join us live on A2 Analysis as we break down the imminent escalation of the U.S.-Iran war, deciding Iran's fate, the profound suffering of the Iranian people, and the ultimate fight for the region.

In just the last two days, Ukraine has taken out three Russian aircraft, three anti-aircraft missile systems and 12 air defense radars with most of the strikes occurring inside Russia rather than occupied Ukraine. In other words, more and more Russian targets continue to become available.

Today, there is important news from the Russian Federation.
Here, Russia’s technology sector has suffered a major blow after drones struck Yandex’s biggest data center in Sasovo, in the Ryazan Region, triggering a fire and forcing the facility to shut down completely. Located on the former premises of the Sasta machine-tool plant, which supplies Russia’s engineering industry and was also targeted in the attack, the complex hosts tens of thousands of servers and represents Yandex’s most important computing facilities.
The Ukrainian attack immediately disrupted cloud infrastructure, as Yandex acknowledged electricity problems affecting one availability zone and advised customers to switch to alternatives. Although the company maintained that its principal consumer services remained operational, the complete shutdown demonstrated how quickly a physical strike can interrupt digital infrastructure supporting thousands of businesses, as problems were reported throughout various internet services in Russia within minutes after the attack.
Financial markets reacted immediately in panic as well, with Yandex shares falling approximately four percent during early Moscow trading, as investors were suddenly confronting a new risk: Russia’s most important technology companies could become increasingly vulnerable to the same type of disruption already affecting its energy and logistics sectors.
The timing is particularly significant because Russian strikes have recently targeted Ukrainian data centers, and now Russia is experiencing the consequences of attacks against its own digital infrastructure, while the economic implications could extend far beyond Yandex. Earlier attacks on Wildberries and Ozon facilities demonstrated how physical destruction can disrupt online commerce. Data centers represent an even more complicated challenge because they support the software systems that allow businesses to function.
What makes it even more dangerous, warehouses can often be replaced through smaller storage facilities, alternative distribution routes, and dispersed inventories. Large data centers are harder to replicate quickly, as they require enormous electrical capacity, cooling equipment, specialized servers, high-speed connections, and carefully coordinated software environments. Although workloads can be transferred between facilities, relocating massive datasets and computing capacity requires substantial investment and technical preparation. Consequently, repeated disruptions could create mounting costs even when companies successfully restore their services.
Russia’s digital economy depends upon these systems for cloud storage, financial transactions, corporate databases, telecommunications and government administration. Yandex itself operates search, navigation, transportation, storage and artificial-intelligence services, including YandexGPT. Disruption across several independent providers could therefore produce cascading problems: slower applications, interrupted online payments, unavailable business records, delayed administrative services and increasingly unreliable commercial platforms.
The next potential biggest target could be the Udomlya data center in Tver Oblast, processing nuclear-reactor simulations and storing state video archives from across Russia, the destruction of which could disrupt the work of the Russian government. The second major target could become Moscow’s M-Nine data center, which is a hub that, if taken offline, could cause a large part of the Russian internet to suffer immediate disruption, potentially affecting banking transactions, mobile connectivity, and government portals. Despite Russia possessing a geographically distributed data-center industry, most of the operational facilities are located inside or near Moscow.
After such a campaign, Russian companies will have to restore data access, redirect workloads, investigate interrupted transactions, and reassure customers. Some may need additional backup capacity, while others could reconsider relying exclusively on domestic infrastructure. For the Russian government, repeated incidents would create another expensive challenge alongside protecting refineries, transportation networks and industrial facilities.
Overall, the scale of the risk for Russia makes the Sasovo attack fundamentally different from previous attacks on warehouses. The immediate damage concerns physical equipment, but the secondary consequences can spread through businesses that never experienced the attack directly, demonstrating a vulnerability that Moscow can no longer ignore but can’t fix quickly enough as well. After years of Russian attacks against Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure, the consequences are increasingly reaching Russia’s own digital economy.

Russians have now officially started to dismantle their own air defense, leaving even more gaps for Ukraine to exploit. All of this was done solely to increase the number of strikes on Ukraine, as Russia has begun converting its existing air defense missiles into ground-attack ballistic missiles. According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia converted around two-hundred missiles in two-thousand-and-twenty-five and plans to convert an additional four-hundred-and-eighty by the end of this year. However, as these missiles were never designed for such ground-attack purposes, their accuracy is horribly ineffective. Additionally, using air defense interceptors as strike weapons creates a serious long-term vulnerability for Russian air defense as a whole, as production capabilities is refocused and repurposed, while Russians already suffer from a serious air defense problem.
Russian air defenses are already placed under significant strain, with Russian military analysts stating that Russia is experiencing a true air defense shortage. Ukrainian saturation tactics using waves of drones and missiles force Russian systems to already expend valuable interceptors, with some units already reporting a shortage. Instead of addressing this shortage, the Russian leadership has decided to prioritize offensive strikes against Ukraine. This decision may exploit Ukraine’s own shortage of ballistic missile interceptors, but it leaves Russia with a thinner and less capable defensive shield of its own, while Ukraine works to strengthen theirs instead. Despite this obvious misalignment of priorities, Russia is now focusing massively on launching as many of them as possible to strike targets across Kyiv.
The latest Russian strike involved twenty-four ballistic missiles, four Zircon missiles, and more than one hundred drones. Russians deployed ballistic missiles with cluster warheads to target warehouses within the city. As a result of the attacks, seventeen people were killed, more than forty were injured, and fire raging for hours.
Simultaneously, Russia is importing additional offensive capacity while prioritizing missiles that weaken or fail to replenish its homeland defense. A North Korean missile unit has recently been deployed to the Voronezh region to support missile strikes against Ukraine. The contingent includes approximately six individual ballistic missile launchers and more than one-hundred-and-twenty ballistic missiles. These North Korean missiles and launchers will soon enable Russia to conduct even larger salvos and more frequent attacks on Ukraine, putting Ukraine’s air defense network under increasing strain.
However, destroying the launchers before firing may be more realistic than attempting to intercept every missile after launch. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has declared that North Korean missile installations or systems deployed to attack Ukraine are legitimate military targets. President Volodymyr Zelensky has additionally made a decree to prioritize the destruction of Russian ballistic missile launchers to reduce the number of strikes against Ukraine. Zelensky stressed that Ukrainian forces already know how to track the locations of the launchers with the help of Western intelligence support. At the same time, Ukraine is working together with European partners to produce an anti-ballistic missile air-defense system as a long-term solution. The interceptor missiles of the Freya system will be manufactured domestically by Fire Point, while its radar and sensors would be supplied by Europe. This would help to reduce Ukraine’s dependence on the US-made Patriot system with a domestic alternative. If this new air defense system is successfully developed and mass-produced, while Ukraine strikes Russia’s launchers, Ukraine could significantly reduce the number of successful ballistic missile strikes. Moscow is now exploiting Ukraine’s temporary shortage, but it is encouraging Ukraine to destroy Russian launchers and accelerate a European replacement for Patriot.
Overall, diverting air defense interceptors into ground-attack missiles is Russia’s biggest mistake, because they are trading long-term homeland protection for short-term strike capacity against Ukraine. Every gap in Russian protection, which they voluntarily make, creates additional opportunities for Ukraine, which they can exploit. Additionally, importing North Korean missiles increases short-term attack volume but does nothing to repair the growing defensive vulnerability inside Russia. Russia is trying to exploit Ukraine’s temporary shortage by creating a potentially longer-term shortage in its own defensive system.

In this video, we will analyze Ukrainian amphibious attack on the Kinburn Spit.
Here, Ukrainian forces are steadily reshaping the battlefield with drones that pressure Russian positions along the spits and coastline in southwestern Ukraine. The expanded campaign is creating panic among Russian commanders, who increasingly fear that these Ukrainian operations may actually be preparing the conditions for something much larger.
Recently released Ukrainian footage illustrates these Russian fears, as one Ukrainian Bayraktar drone destroyed a Russian boat attempting to transport personnel or supplies to the Tenderivska Spit. Another clip shows a quick Russian boat trying to exploit its high speed, but without success, as it is destroyed even before reaching the shore. While the Bayraktar has spent much of the past two years operating primarily as a reconnaissance asset because of Russian air defenses, the systematic Ukrainian attacks against Russian radar stations and air-defense systems have opened growing gaps, allowing larger drones to operate much closer to the front once again.
At the same time, Ukraine's Fortieth Marine Brigade employed Barracuda unmanned naval vessels that function as mobile drone carriers. They allowed the transportation of FPV and heavy bomber drones, used to strike observation posts, ammunition depots and logistics positions, as confirmed by Ukrainian footage. Other Barracuda drones were captured carrying anti-aircraft missiles for self-protection, further eroding Russia's ability to counter their activity. Together with persistent Ukrainian surveillance, these operations are steadily making Russian positions along the Tenderivska Spit and nearby coastlines increasingly difficult to hold.
This sustained pressure forced many Russian analysts to think that Ukraine is preparing something far more ambitious than drone strikes meant simply to eliminate Russian soldiers and weaken their overall posture. Some of them are increasingly speculating that Ukrainian special forces are rehearsing operations around the Kinburn Peninsula, pointing to reported boat exercises and smoke-screen training near the Yuzhni Bug River leading toward the Dnipro-Bug estuary. According to these Russian assessments, more than two thousand five hundred Ukrainian soldiers from various formations subordinate to the Thirtieth Marine Corps have reportedly assembled in the direction. They are supported by forty-six boats, over one hundred inflatable boats, at least nine naval drones, and additional armored vehicles and artillery systems.
Concerned that these preparations could precede an amphibious operation, Russian forces launched a strike against what they described as a Ukrainian staging area along the Yuzhni Bug River, using 5 Geranium drones to strike at buildings and grass on the territory of the base. Russian analysts pointed out the attack was to disrupt any Ukrainian operation before it began, claiming it had also damaged boats and equipment, although no visual confirmation of any of these losses has emerged.
Russian analysts believe the Ukrainian plan for an amphibious attack would unfold in several carefully coordinated phases. Ukraine would initially conduct a limited diversionary landing near Pokrovske using a relatively small force designed to probe Russian defenses while establishing a temporary beachhead. Fire support would reportedly come from rocket-armed naval drones and FPV drones operating from both landing craft and nearby positions on the mainland. Once Russian defenses would be pinned down, a larger assault force of up to eight hundred troops would land further along the coastline, aiming to isolate nearby settlements before advancing toward the administrative boundary separating Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. Simultaneously, additional activity around other settlements along the coastline could divide Russian attention, while specialized Ukrainian Sargan-class naval drones can clear the Russian minefields protecting the beaches.
What makes this Russian fear much more plausible today than in previous years is the changing balance of capabilities. Prominent Russian military analysts argue that their logistics throughout Russian-controlled southern Ukraine have come under immense Ukrainian pressure, while the relatively short distance of three and a half kilometers between Ukrainian-controlled Ochakiv and the Kinburn Peninsula simplifies amphibious operations. They state that Ukraine now also possesses far greater numbers of naval and airborne drones, with these variants now capable of providing reconnaissance, fire support, precision strikes, and even logistical and casualty evacuation support throughout such an operation.
I examine the extraordinary night of October 14, 2026, when Ukrainian drones reportedly surged toward Moscow and Russian infrastructure while Russia launched 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones and loitering munitions against Kyiv. Moscow’s mayor said nearly 500 drones were headed toward the capital; reported targets included an oil depot in Belgorod, the Novoshakhtinsk refinery, and Sberbank’s Balakovo data center.
The more consequential failure came over Kyiv. Ukrainian officials said they received no allied warning before the first ballistic-missile wave, though alerts reportedly arrived for later waves. With 35 of 39 missiles getting through, strikes damaged power and oil-and-gas facilities, caused blackouts and water disruptions, and underscored Ukraine’s interceptor shortage. I also assess reports that Starshield terminals lost connectivity above 160 km/h, disrupting Ukrainian missions, while separating confirmed restrictions from speculation about their cause. The strategic issue is whether degraded warning, air defense, and connectivity are creating exploitable gaps for Russia.

A New York Times columnist is now blaming President Trump for creating the culture that led to the Cornell 7.
But a better observation would examine the history of presidential misconduct, the influence of rap music on cultural attitudes toward women, and the feminist movement's own role in shaping the very culture it now decries.
“As a general rule, any single woman should not go to a frat party after 10 o'clock in the evening. That's what I would say. And then you say, Well, why can't you? It's the same thing like I won't walk in downtown Fresno after nine o'clock on an evening. I just wouldn't do it. Because I'm not dumb.”
