راهبردهای نظامی سپاه پاسداران یکی پس از دیگری در حال ابطال شدن هستند. ایده حملات موشکی انبوه به اسرائیل، حمله قایق‌های تندرو به ناوهای آمریکا و غرق کردن آنها با موشک‌های بالستیک نقطه‌زن، همگی ناکام مانده‌اند. بسیاری از این تصورات، توهم بود و فرماندهانی که این تحلیل‌ها را به علی خامنه‌ای ارائه می‌کردند، همراه او کشته شده‌اند.
