Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has been killed, according to Iranian state media and multiple Reuters reports, after major US and Israeli strikes on Tehran and other targets across Iran.

The strikes were part of a fast-moving escalation between Iran, Israel and the US. Reuters reports the attack hit leadership, military and nuclear targets, and was followed by further Israeli strikes and Iranian retaliation across the region.

Khamenei had led Iran since 1989 and was the country’s most powerful political and religious figure. His death leaves Iran facing major uncertainty over succession, security and the future of the regime.

President Donald Trump said he isn’t ruling out sending U.S. troops to Iran, stating that “Operation Epic Fury” was ahead of schedule, he said in an exclusive interview to the New York Post.

“I don’t have the yips with respect to boots on the ground — like every president says, ‘There will be no boots on the ground.’ I don’t say it,” Trump told the newspaper. ““I say ‘probably don’t need them,’ [or] ‘if they were necessary.'”

Trump said the operation followed earlier U.S. action — which he previously referred to as “Operation Midnight Hammer” — that destroyed key Iranian nuclear facilities. According to the president, Iran ignored warnings not to rebuild its nuclear program and continued pursuing nuclear weapons while expanding its ballistic missile capabilities.

He argued that Iran’s rapidly growing missile program, already capable of striking Europe and U.S. bases overseas, was nearing the ability to reach the U.S. homeland. Trump said the missile buildup was designed to shield Iran’s nuclear development and make it more difficult for the international community to stop.

“An Iranian regime armed with long-range missiles and nuclear weapons would be an intolerable threat,” Trump said, adding that the United States itself was “very nearly under threat.”

Trump said the campaign followed months of rising tensions and failed nuclear negotiations, sharply criticizing the Obama-era Iran nuclear deal and asserting that Tehran repeatedly backed out of agreements.

He outlined four primary objectives:

Destroy Iran’s missile capabilities and its capacity to manufacture new missiles
Target Iranian military assets, including naval vessels
Ensure Iran can never obtain a nuclear weapon
Prevent Iran from funding and directing proxy militant groups abroad

Trump said U.S. forces were already ahead of schedule in meeting operational goals. Military planners initially projected the campaign would last four to five weeks, he said, but he emphasized the timeline is flexible.

در بخش اول ویدیو، کل محتوای کتاب «شیعی‌گری» به شکل منظم روایت می‌شود. در این بخش، تمام مباحثی که کسروی درباره پیدایش شیعه، روند تاریخی آن، آداب و باورهای مرتبط، اختلافات درون‌مذهبی و ساختار فکری مورد انتقاد خود مطرح کرده، توضیح داده می‌شود. ترتیب روایی کاملاً مطابق فصل‌های کتاب است و نکاتی که خود نویسنده برجسته کرده بدون تغییر یا سانسور آورده شده‌اند. هدف این بخش ارائه یک تصویر دقیق از آن چیزی است که خود کسروی نوشته، نه تحلیل شخصی یا برداشت بیرونی.

در بخش دوم، ورود به کتاب «خواندیم و داوری کردیم» صورت می‌گیرد. در این قسمت، تمام پاسخ‌ها، نقدها و استدلال‌هایی که امینی هرندی در برابر مطالب کتاب «شیعی‌گری» مطرح کرده، به همان ترتیب کتاب بیان می‌شود. هر فصل از کتاب هرندی که به نقد ادعای مشخصی از کسروی می‌پردازد، به طور کامل روایت شده و توضیح داده می‌شود که او به کدام بخش از گفته‌های کسروی واکنش نشان داده و چه استدلالی را در مقابل آن قرار داده است. در این بخش سعی شده تمام موارد اعتراضی، توضیحی، تاریخی یا استنادی که نویسنده آورده بدون حذف و خلاصه‌سازی ناقص نقل شود.

در ادامه ویدیو، نقاط تقابل دو کتاب نیز شفاف ارائه می‌شود. یعنی جایی که یک ادعا از کسروی مطرح است و در مقابل، پاسخ دقیق امینی هرندی قرار می‌گیرد. این کار به مخاطب اجازه می‌دهد مسیر ذهنی دو نویسنده را کنار هم ببیند و بفهمد هرکدام چگونه استدلال خود را پیش می‌برد.
